This is a free service powered by Panorist, a platform for photographers where you can share your candid photos with the unknown people you shot.

So read our lessons and learn our tips. Then, when possible, go out on the streets and take pictures of people. Go to places with many people like parks, concerts, arenas, beaches, or any public spot…

Then upload your pictures on panorist.com or on our APP. Choose date and location. And let people find themselves on Panorist. You will earn money for each picture you sell.

What are the best street photography settings?

To get started with our lessons, we tell you what could be the basic settings you should use on your camera to do street photography. But remember that it depends always on the situation. Feel free to try different settings:

1. Autofocus. In street photography you must be faster than ever. Use autofocus when you have people around, because the autofocus will focus on the closest person, and avoid unfocused subjects. But you can always focus and recompose on a manual way.
2. Aperture. Configure your aperture depending on the kind of pictures you want to take. Are you going to take pictures of subjects up close or further away?
3. A good choice is to keep the shutter sped below 1/125^th because if you do not use a tripod there is risk of camera shake.
4. Most of the cameras do not have a good AutoISO so keep your ISO on 1600 and adjust it if necessary depending on the lighting. Keep evolving with time and experience.
